PRESSFIT SYSTEM
The Navigator Pressfit system provides a fast, flame-free jointing solution designed to
deliver consistent, professional results across a wide range of plumbing and heating
applications. All Pressfit fittings are M-profile compatible and suitable for use with
standard press tools, helping to reduce installation time while improving on-site safety by
eliminating the need for hot works.
MB Pressfit – Water
MB Pressfit fittings for water and heating applications are manufactured from high-quality copper to BS EN
1057 and are independently tested and certified by BSI to BS EN 1254-7, carrying the BSI Kitemark™. The
range is WRAS approved for potable water use, with polymeric seals manufactured to BS 6920.
Blue PVC identification rings provide clear visual confirmation during installation and drop away once the fitting
has been correctly pressed. During pressure testing, unpressed joints will leak, helping to identify incomplete
connections.
MB Stainless Steel Pressfit – Water
MB stainless steel Pressfit fittings are manufactured from 316L stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion
resistance and hygienic performance for demanding applications. The range is WRAS approved for potable
water installations when installed in accordance with product guidelines.
Blue PVC identification rings detach once the fitting has been correctly pressed, providing instant visual
confirmation of a completed joint. During pressure testing, unpressed joints will leak, helping to identify
connections that have not been fully pressed.
Salvus® Pressfit – Gas
Salvus® Pressfit fittings are specifically designed for gas applications, including use with 2nd and 3rd family
gases. Manufactured from copper to BS EN 1057, the range is independently tested and certified by BSI to BS
EN 1254-7, carrying the BSI Kitemark™.
Each fitting incorporates a high-temperature yellow polymer seal conforming to EN 549 and a yellow PVC
identification ring, ensuring clear separation from water systems and supporting safe installation practices.
The Navigator Pressfit system combines intuitive identification, proven compliance and
professional reliability — supporting efficient and safe installation across water and gas
applications.
